pants on the ground

We are, unfortunately, still in the midst of toilet training. It's feeling like Nate will be "in training" until Anja starts. He is doing very well with peeing, but we are not having a lot of luck in the number two department. Nate is pretty insistent on pooping in his undies instead of the toilet. This is not my favorite part of being a parent. Why does so much of my life have to revolve around poop?! Now that it's warmer out, we've decided to take a new approach and we are having Nate go bottom-less around the house. We started yesterday and within 15 minutes he pooped in the potty. I'm nervous that this is some sort of cruel joke. It couldn't really work that quickly, could it?! This morning we were out, and therefore clothed, and when we arrived home Nate contentedly pooped in his pants. So we are now back to the No Pants approach, and keeping our fingers crossed that this results in bathroom pooping rather than turds all over the house.
