Thad and I have been trying to keep things uplifting for Nate, and earlier last week we'd been talking with him about decorating the house for Christmas, so yesterday we went out to get our tree. While we were at the store we saw Santa! And not only that, but he gave Nate a candy cane. When we got in the car to come home Nate said, "candy cane... what a day!"
