Today Nate's six month's old, his Aunt Jean is graduating from college, and it's Mother's Day. Definitely a day to celebrate!
current nicknames: Nate, The Buddy
eyes: grey, but they look like they may be turning brown
hair: still mostly bald
feature most like mom's: impatience (still!)
feature most like dad's: boyish good looks
burps: more than dad
passes gas: about the same as dad
cries: more than mom
smiles when: people smile at him and when you show him chewed food in your mouth
favorite toy: his cube with the handles
favorite song: abbadabba honeymoon, itsy bitsy spider
favorite book: moo, ba, lalala
baby is currently saying _____ a lot: pbffftttt (blowing raspberries)
we're not sure, but we think it means: Cool - I can now project my drool!
favorite new food: formula
food most often spit out or otherwise rejected: he's still not sure what to make of the rice cereal
bringing along _____ allows us to stay at places longer: pacifier
longest we've been able to stay at a restaurant before a complete meltdown: about an hour! Although, he was asleep...
we've picked the pacifier off the ground: more than reasonable, since we own those nifty pacifier clips.
things we find most endearing about baby: funny little laughs that sound like grunting, smiles, babbling, snuggles, when he's tired and nuzzles his face on us... and, from Thad, his mommy. :)

Really? That was only an hour we were at Simply Crepes?
Is Nate holding PINSTRIPES in that picture?!?
:)
Picky, picky! I think we did make it over an hour on our crepe expedition too. But Nate slept then also, if my memory serves me?
And, to the relief of all, those are pinstripes but not THOSE pinstripes. Its just a generic baseball onesie. It has red arms, so it's okay. And I'm wearing my spiffy Red Sox World Champions sweatshirt. So breathe easy, everyone!
Yup. He fell asleep just as we were digging in. He didn't even wake up much as we were getting ready to leave.
