Today is definitely a milestone day around the Carlson/Corbo-Hudak household. Nate is eight months old, so now he can do pretty much everything he did yesterday except we can say "he's eight months" instead of "he's almost eight months." In much more exciting Nate News, he sort of started crawling this morning. He's been getting up on his hands and knees for a while now, usually with great displeasure, and he will move his legs around but he typically gets stuck because he doesn't move his arms. But today he figured out how to switch his balance from limb to limb so he could move his arms, and he crawled a couple of "steps" before flopping over. It was quite exhilarating for both Nate and his parents.

Also, today's Thad's thesis defense. In true Thad-style, the big stressor of the morning was what to wear. Now he's off to more relaxing things like being grilled on all-things-immunology for a few hours.
