he's huge, rochester, huge-uh!
Average is a bit more accurate. This morning Nate went in for his one year checkup (we went a couple of weeks early so we could stay with our regular pediatrician, rather than trying to find someone in Boston who could see him immediately after our move) and he gained just over four pounds since his last appointment! He's 22 lbs 5.5 oz, is 30-inches long/tall, and his head is 46 cm. That puts him in the 50th percentile for weight and length, and 45th for head size. He got a thumbs up from Dr. Topa and seems to be healthy. We're ready to start the transition from formula to whole milk (a nice change for our wallets), and he's been officially cleared to eat anything I'm not allergic to, which is a nice step forward. Who needs PB&J anyway?

i bet he gets his big head from our side of the family
Please take that "huge-uh" guy with you...I can't STAND him, his enourmous untucked shirt or those commercials!!! Better yet, drop him on the side of the road somewhere bewteen here and Boston, and hope he gets lost :P
There goes him having his first nut-crusted shrimp for his birthday next month. Glad to hear he's got a clean bill of health.
