So, as you are probably aware, it is still raining. And not surprisingly, I am running out of rainy day activities. Who would have thought we'd have moved from Upstate NY to somewhere with more clouds? Seriously, June was around 75% clouds, and we haven't had three rain-free days in a row since May. And, I am completely serious, today's Boston Globe has an article on how to build an ark.
We've been to the Science Museum on numerous occasions, the Discovery Museum, grocery stores, Home Depot, other misc. stores, lots of play dates, indoor play spaces, the library, etc. Aunt Jean spent the day in South Station with Nate (which, I must admit, was a brilliant idea and a big hit. They spent a couple of hours watching all the busses and trains). We've done art projects, built trains, even watched a little TV. But here we are, a month into the monsoon, and the forecast for next week is, you've guessed it, rain! Please, please, if you have any creative and dry activity suggestions, we are willfully accepting them!
